The FT039 Alignment Collar is used in conjunction with the FT040 Mast Mount Alignment Tool to facilitate a fast and precise alignment of the FT742-DM50 wind sensor to a given datum.

Use the FT040 to align the collar before locking it in place using the FT037 Self-locking fasteners for FT742-DM50 wind sensor. The alignment accessory can then be removed to fit an FT742-DM50 in the pre-aligned position.
